# EUROe

EUROe is a Euro stablecoin issued by [Membrane Finance,](https://www.membrane.fi/) regulated by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority (Fin-FSA) as an electronic money institution (EMI) in the EU. EUROe is backed by Euros held in regulated European banks to keep it redeemable 1:1 for Euros.
